Preliminary Task
Our preliminary task helped to prepare me for the real filming. I had learnt a whole range of skills especially the usage of a professional camera. I also gained skills in editing as I and my team mates assembled the clips in order and added sounds.
The story itself was formed from the food cake. We had decided to recreate the story of Cinderella and Snow White and add a little twist. Cinderella (Jahannara) lives a life with her evil stepmother (Farzana) who abruptly tries to poison her with a cake. In the final moments when Cinderella is in a deep sleep she is awakened by her best friend Snow White (Farjana) and the evil stepmother had vanished.
This was a good way to prepare for the real filming process and research that I would need in the future for my coursework and was an exciting insight into the world of filming!
